Welcome to The Vocational Nursing Institute, Inc.

The Vocational Nursing Institute, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Dr. Kimberley A. Kelly DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, LNC. Dr. Kelly’s vision is to provide a Vocational School to help others in the community become vocational nurses and offer other allied health programs. The school has the following approvals: Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Texas Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Texas Board of Nursing (TBON), Veteran Affairs (VA), and the Council Of Occupational Education (COE) who is the school accreditor. Dr. Kelly decided to transition the school in the latter part of 2009 to a non-profit status, as a 501 C 3, which will enhance the opportunities for the students via grants and donations to the school and benefits the students versus a for-profit entity. Currently, eight board members run the school. The board members and faculty directory are located under the “About our School” or clicking here.

We are accepting enrollment packages in person with an appointment or by email to kkelly@vni.edu.
